This Orris Root 15% Irones is a high-quality choice as a natural perfume base note and fixative. A small amount goes a long way and this particular lot is top-notch. It's a thick, semi-solid oil that can be made more manageable by gently heating it in a warm water bath. It can be blended with both alcohol and carrier oils. You'll enjoy its soft, floral, powdery, and woody aroma with hints of violet flower overtones.
