- Sow Indoors or Outdoors: Silver Falls dichondra is a rugged desert perennial and most commonly sown outdoors after the frost, but can be started indoors 6 – 8 weeks prior for stronger starts. Dichondra will germinate in 7 – 14 days with full lighting and can be transplanted either outside or in any number of hanging baskets, planters, and indoor pots. Plants will vine upwards with staking support or trellis.
