Celest CD-2 has the US Maxim MAX97220 power amp chip. With CX31993 DAC chip decoding & pre-amp output plus MAX97220's post-amp output,it provides a powerful driving force for your headphones.
Celest independently develops the integrated PCBA mainboard:-
Its audio team rejected the common public version plan, redesigned PCB circuit layouts, and adopted Hifi-level partitioned isolation architecture. From power supply, digital signal input, DAC to AMP , all parts are laid out separately. Optimized peripheral filtering components, circuit layout and shielding design effectively isolate external electromagnetic interference, reducing noise and static.

The Celest ID design team uses tough, angular lines and broken lines as the main design language, unlike the traditional smooth and soft style. The watch is what I expected, and works upon receipt as advertised. At this price, if it only works for 4-6 months it's easily worth the money. Large, nice looking face, day/date. Wristband is what you'd expect, but adequate and comfortable.

Dies after a Year

Watch worked fine for about a year, then just stopped working - just like that. No amount of shaking or gentle impacts would get it to start ticking again.
I'd also say my biggist issue with it was it was always difficult to tell which hand was the second hand and which hand was the minute hand since they're both the same color and thickness. Wish the hour and minute hands were a little thicker so they'd stand out a little better and/or that the minute hand was a different color so it was offset. Resulted in having to study the watch to get the time instead of a quick glimpse to see what time it was. Irritating after a while.
