The ARIES Big Horn 4" bull bar boasts a hefty 4" diameter tube to give your truck a bold look with the toughness to back it up. It is constructed from 304 stainless steel to be strong and highly rust-resistant. 304 stainless has a greater nickel content than many other types of stainless steel, allowing it to better withstand water, road salt and rust and maintain a clean surface. It also comes with a mirror-like polished finish for a bright accent on the front end of your vehicle. This bull bar is also available in a textured black powder-coated aluminum construction to give you the freedom to customize the look of your truck. Each Big Horn bull bar offers easy customization options with its pre-drilled light mounting holes. The crossbar features two mounting points to accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The bull bar is also equipped with a brushed stainless steel skid plate. The skid plate is made from highly rust-resistant 304 stainless steel and protects against loose gravel and other small road debris. It comes with an aggressive ARIES-exclusive cutout and can also be removed for a customized look. Made to complement our Big Step side bars, the Big Horn bull bar is perfect for lifted trucks, diesels and full-size pickups. Not only does it provide a bold, aggressive look, but it is also made to fit your vehicle perfectly. Each one features a unique bend that accents the shape and contour of a specific front-end application. Our 4" bull bar is also equipped with vehicle-specific mounting brackets. This allows it to be installed quicker, fit better on the vehicle's frame and eliminates the need for drilling. It uses pre-existing factory holes in the frame to cut down on installation time and add rigidity. This bull bar fits select model years of the Toyota Sequoia and Toyota Tundra (see application info to verify fitment).

Like a real-life legal thriller. Especially if you're thrilled by the progress we've made.

This book, while deeply researched and rigorous, is the opposite of legalese. Thomas's vivid, thoughtful, witty storytelling reveals the real (and courageous) people behind the cases that made employment discrimination law what it is today. It shows not just the impact of law on people, but the impact of people on law. These women's struggles (and those of the advocates at their side) are both infuriating and inspiring. (That was me on the subway yelling at the book, alternating between "WHAT THE HELL?!" and "YOU GO, IDA!") Read it on the train, read it on the beach; just read it. I have a zillion friends with spring birthdays, not to mention my mom (who came of working age during this gender-siloed Mad-Men-tastic era) and I'm buying it for every single one.

A serious read about a very relevant, non-fiction topic... not a light hearted read.

A serious non-fiction, not a leisurely novel... very detailed, lots of research went into this, and a lot to be learned from reading thru it.. an excellent education of all that leads up to our Supreme Court,... and serious relevance to the 60’s, 70’s, up to now.... for many women.

Entertaining read
Format: Kindle
I wanted to educate myself on some of the issues that are presented in this book. If you're looking for just factual case-law and supreme court decisions this is not the book you're looking for. This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.

If you're like me, you've probably either never heard of these cases or heard about them in only the broadest of strokes. For remedying that, this book is excellent. Thomas provides a detailed account of how these complaints came to be, how they wended their way through the cases, and why they are important in terms of outcome and legal precedent. This is a book that I'm glad to have read and one that I would highly recommend to others.

engrossing, revealing, shocking, fascinating -- 10 gritty women who won big cases at great personal loss

Thankfully, women no longer have to pay more for retirement plans, and get lower payouts, than men. Amazing how many different, inventive the ways were in the 1960's to keep women out of jobs. Bless Title VII and the attorneys and clients who fought these battles; we stand on their shoulders. The saddest part is the update, at the end of the book showing how protections against gender discrimination in the workplace have weakened in recent years. In particular, it has become difficult, or nearly impossible, to prove that a hostile work environment exists so long as employers pay lip service to certain ideas and practices and hide what's really going on--which we working women KNOW still goes on, unfortunately.
