This 600 Wh in frame lithium battery delivers the right balance of range, weight and handling for everyday commuting, weekend touring and four season utility across Canada. Bosch’s intelligent Battery Management System continuously monitors the cells to help protect against overcharge, deep discharge and overheating, while the intuitive lockable interface makes removal and installation quick and secure at home or at the rack.

The latest PowerTube housing is revised and lighter. For sustainability reasons, Bosch is phasing out the black coating, so you may see silver and black housings on the market during the transition. The horizontal fit tucks cleanly inside the down tube for a sleek look and stable ride feel.

Compatibility is critical. When replacing a battery or adding a spare, always confirm that the part number on your existing battery matches: EB12.100.04X. This pack is Smart System only and not compatible with Bosch System 2 eBikes. It also is not interchangeable with other PowerTube generations due to different dimensions and mounts. For correct installation you will also need the optional End Plate if it is not already on your bike.
