Back in Australia, the Dunies played a slew of headline and festival gigs across the country, including a massive Splendour In The Grass set where they belted out their hit Triple J Like A Version cover of The Angels' "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again." Somehow, around all this, Danny, BC, and Brett knuckled down to write a bunch of new songs that would become their fifth studio album, "If It Sucks, Turn It Up" - the follow-up to their two #1 ARIA Albums ‘The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit’ - 2017, and ‘Hurry Up And Wait’ - 2020 and their 2022 ARIA Australian #1 Album ‘Real Rare Whale’. Featuring singles "Be Like You" and "Solar Eyes," the album's sounds are born from a combination of the album muse, Regurgitator's ‘UNIT’, and their drive to keep evolving and having fun with their music, especially on the stage.
