Effective joining compound containg chromate designed to inhibit galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals. Single part, air setting, duralac has low solubility in water and will not erode with time, even when subjected to high pressure from considerable water flow. Excellent adhesion properties and because of its tough flexible composition, has very low water absorption.
Very effective for eliminating corrosion on mast installations and other aluminium parts where stainless steel fixings are used. Best applied by brush to rivets, metal fittings and machine screws just before final installation.
