Light
Bright indirect light is best for keeping the variegation crisp and encouraging strong growth. A little gentle morning sun is usually fine, but harsh afternoon rays can scorch the lighter sections of the leaves. Higher light levels generally help maintain better variegation.
Watering
Water when the top portion of the soil has dried slightly. This plant enjoys consistent moisture but definitely doesn’t want soggy roots, so make sure excess water can drain freely. Reduce watering slightly through winter.
Temperature
Thrives in warm indoor temperatures and appreciates a stable environment away from cold draughts. Best kept above 15°C.
Potting
Pot into a chunky, airy aroid mix with plenty of drainage. We’d recommend adding orchid bark and perlite into your mix to keep airflow around the roots. A moss pole or plank will help encourage larger, more mature foliage over time.
Hot Tips
This plant naturally wants to climb, so support makes a huge difference to leaf size and overall appearance. Higher humidity will also help keep the foliage looking its best. Not safe for pets if nibbled.
