Compared to traditional matrices, the HD design provides increased stiffness and improved resistance to deformation, allowing for better control during placement and composite injection. This supports the creation of exaggerated and anatomically correct emergence profiles in more challenging cases.
The matrix shape enables precise composite placement into the embrasure while minimising the risk of overhangs. The Mylar material also ensures a smooth interproximal surface and well-contoured final restoration.
