These premium grafted Crokini tomato plants are ideal for growing delicious, sweet cocktail tomatoes in your garden, patio, greenhouse, or on a sunny balcony. Crokini is a vigorous, disease-resistant variety that produces generous trusses of bite-sized cocktail tomatoes, perfect for snacking and salads throughout the summer months.
As indeterminate cordon tomato plants, Crokini should be trained up a sturdy support with side-shoots removed regularly to encourage heavy cropping. Expect a plentiful harvest from July right through to October.
Why Grafted?
\nThese plants are grafted onto a vigorous rootstock, delivering stronger, more productive tomato plants with improved disease resistance and high yield performance compared to standard seedlings. They are easy to grow, making them perfect for beginners and experienced kitchen gardeners alike.
Planting and Position
\nPlant outdoors from late May once the risk of frost has passed, or grow under cover in a greenhouse for an earlier crop. These tomato plants thrive in containers, raised beds, hanging baskets, and open vegetable garden borders. Choose a warm, sheltered spot with at least six hours of direct sunlight per day.
Watering and Feeding
\nWater consistently, keeping the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged. Feed weekly with a high-potash tomato fertiliser once the first fruits begin to set. Irregular watering can cause blossom-end rot and fruit splitting.
