Firing range between Cone 06 (999°C) – Cone 10 (1,305°C). Some colour fading may occur at higher temperatures.
- Lead free and non-toxic.
- Food safe if sealed with a clear glaze. Note: the first coat of glaze should be gently sponged on over the pencil design to prevent smudging if a brush-on glaze is used. If the glaze is to be sprayed or dipped, this step is not necessary.
- Unlike regular pencils, care must be taken in sharpening Underglaze Pencils. A knife or blade is recommended in place of a pencil sharpener.
