MILES DAVIS - Miles Davis In Berlin ( SPC62976 )

Speakers Corner - LP AUDIOPHILE PRESSING 180g

"Miles In Berlin" - Miles Davis (tp); Wayne Shorter (ts); Herbie Hancock (p); Ron Carter (b); Tony Williams (dr)

It's 1964, and the first Berlin Jazz Festival is about to reach its absolute pinnacle: Miles Davis's final concert on the evening of Friday, September 25th. And Columbia Records' European subsidiary, CBS, couldn't wait to release this legendary event on LP.
The new quintet, featuring Wayne Shorter on tenor saxophone for the first time (and not yet as a composer), thrilled and captivated the Philharmonie audience from the first minute to the last. The classics "Miles(tones)," "So What," and "Walkin'" were performed at a surprisingly fast pace, while the ballads were tender and dreamy. Such a magical atmosphere was rarely evoked in subsequent concerts, probably thanks to the excellent acoustics of the large concert hall. The audience was seated behind the stage, so Miles could not provocatively turn his back; sometimes he simply crouched on the stage. However, this did not prevent him from performing his solos with lyricism and tenderness, most of them finely nuanced, soft and delicate, yet audible to the furthest corner. The rhythmic structure created by the young drummer Anthony Williams provided the necessary excitement.
Miles in top form, an enthusiastic audience, impressive acoustics, and, to top it all, excellent recording technology and a fantastic virgin vinyl pressing: what more could a jazz fan ask for? Now's the time to break out the credit card!

Dog Obsessed -- Toy a Mess
Color: Squirrel
The dog was OBSESSED. Truly loved this toy, but he ripped the little pockets really easily. While he still wanted to play with it, it was a little disappointing.

Cute toy
Color: Squirrel
My dog loved it! Looks just like the pics. Durable for most dogs I’m sure. My little dog can destroy anything though lol! Didn’t get to use the treat part cause he destroyed it but looks like a neat concept

Creative and well made!
Color: Squirrel
This is a great dog toy, durable, creative, and it kept my dogs busy and very, very interested. It's challenging enough, but not frustrating. Great for tug of war, too!

Looks like fun but NO
Was so excited to get this and slow my girls down eating their treats and engage them in play. How big do the treats have to be? Because I had to scoop wet gross chewed up treats out of each pocket, vacuum, and put them in the washing machine AFTER my girls abandoned them with the treats still in the pockets. GREAT IDEA but not functional. Agressive chewers would have destroyed the toy the first time. SO DISAPPOINTED

Cute and well made, fun toy for dogs of all sizes.
Color: Frog (Green)
My small dogs luv this toy, especially the handle part for playing tug of war. My peekapoo is only 14 lbs. but he loves to get a grip on the handle with his mouth and tug really hard which also stretches the body and makes the crunchy noises! My chihuahua loves it too and she tries to grab the eyes with her mouth. It is a very well made toy with a squeaker and light stuffing in the head which makes me feel good about letting them play with it. It is strong and very cute and I think they will have it for a long time.
