In "Sitting Ducks Gallery," your sharpshooting skills and strategic cunning are put to the test as you aim to eliminate your opponents' ducks while safeguarding your own. Set in a lively gallery, players must navigate through a dynamic row of duck cards, aiming to ensure their ducks are the last ones standing.

As new cards enter the central row and occasional empty spaces appear, players must quickly assess their options and utilize the cards in their hand to take aim at specific ducks. Once a duck is targeted with an aim token, any player can seize the opportunity by playing a 'Fire' card to eliminate the duck from the gallery.

With each player vying to protect their ducks and take down their opponents', the game intensifies as special cards come into play. These special cards offer diverse effects, allowing players to manipulate the line, move ducks, and strategically position aim tokens to their advantage.

Similar to the dynamic gameplay of Guillotine, "Sitting Ducks Gallery" offers a blend of tactical maneuvering and card-based strategy. Whether you're plotting your next move or countering your rivals' advances, every decision matters as you strive to emerge victorious and ensure your ducks reign supreme in the gallery.

A decent read, it wrestles a bit with a couple of different topics of anxiety, racism, family dynamics, sports, and friendship in fits and bursts. I guess my main critique was it felt a bit shallow (no pun intended) with most issues resolved rather quickly and easily once characters put their minds to it. The Hollyhoke's team also seemed to be pretty toxic making it a wonder why someone would want to go there other than that it's wealthy.

I really enjoyed this book of short stories
Format: Paperback
I loved this book. It was the first time I ever read anything by Simone De Beauvoir. It is difficult but I think the title story was my favorite, watching the character go down hill so rapidly and in such detail showing her growing obession was oddly relatable, her self hatred towards her body towards the end of the story I would not try and presume to state what the "moral" of the story was... but that is exactly what I am going to do about now check it.................... I think that the main Character should have developed a concept of self outside her marriage her marriage was her identity and when that fell apart she had nothing...no sense of self it was a compelling read a little uncomfortable but I like being a littel uncomfortable when I read............
