PhosGuard quickly eliminates phosphate and silicate from both marine and freshwater aquariums. While PhosGuard works effectively in both environments, its performance is enhanced in saltwater, where its necessity is more pronounced.

DIRECTIONS:
It may produce heat upon initial contact with water. To prepare, soak it in double the volume of freshwater, then rinse thoroughly. For optimal performance, rinse PhosGuard before usage and position it to allow maximum water flow through it without causing it to tumble against itself. It can be utilized in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or any area with high flow in a trickle filter. We recommend using a filter bag. For every 200 L (50 US gallons) of saltwater, or 400 L (100 US gallons) of freshwater, use 85 mL (1/3 cup).
