Booteek

Booteek is a women's co-op in Sri Lanka that started with a group of mom's who we're desperate to provide better opportunities for their disabled children. Booteek mom's collect textile scraps from textile companies and create up-cycled bags, totes, and pouches. Not only have they been able to earn an income to care for their kids, but many of their children are no artisans themselves making the very crafts that gave them the opportunity to do so in the first place.
