The intrepid fan of all things bayou-related, Ian Saddler, takes time off from rooting about in dusty tape archives to bring you a compilation of modern recordings from the area. All tracks were recorded between 2004 and 2011 and Ace are pleased to include four each from two of the biggest Zydecajun stars: Travis Matte and Jivin Gene. Ace has a history of championing the music of Louisiana but this is the first time they have collected together such contemporary sounds continuing the tradition of Another Saturday Night and the original Louisiana Saturday Night from 1993.
