It is also recommended for use in inflammation of the stomach. It contains easily digestible ingredients and an increased amount of electrolytes that compensate for losses resulting from improper digestion. After consultation with a veterinarian, it can be used in cases of chronic pancreatic insufficiency. Due to its high energy value and nutrient content, it is also recommended during convalescence after illness.  The product may have a white coating, which is the result of naturally occurring crystallization of meat ingredients. It does not affect the quality of the food.
