Manufactured by Danish design company Georg Jensen in 1969 as part of their "Art for Everyday Living" series, and showcased in their Nov/Dec issue.
This limited-edition series was commissioned by Art in America magazine in an effort to give a wider audience to the prominent contemporary artists of the time via new mediums.
The set's colorful mid-century design is keeping with the Anuszkiewicz's infamous utilization of geometric shapes and high-intensity colors to create optical illusions.
