She had roles on television as well, including Miss Bliss in Good Morning, Miss Bliss (the precursor to Saved by the Bell) as well as Caroline in the much loved ITV series Wild at Heart.
A lifelong Hayley Mills fan, Ryal McMurry is an educator. Although he worked at Disneyland and worked as an actor in film and television, he has been in education for eighteen years, most of those in kindergarten! He also taught first grade, second grade, and preschool. He was a reading instructional specialist and the principal of two elementary schools, but his passion remains teaching children how to read and getting them excited about reading! Ryal lives in New Mexico with his wife, Alicia, and their children, Kayla, Reyna, Alayna, and Lorenzo. He is proud to be a part of the Otero County, NM, affiliate of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library—a program that gets books into the hands of children. Their local affiliate has given away over 230,000 books in the last thirteen years!
