The Tamiya 1/350 U.S. Battleship BB-63 Missouri circa 1991 (78029) reproduces the USS Missouri in her Gulf War reactivation specification — the battleship that ended the Second World War (Japan's formal surrender was signed on her deck on 2 September 1945) and was then reactivated twice more, finally firing her last operational 16-inch rounds during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. The Missouri's 1991 configuration included Tomahawk cruise missile launchers and Phalanx CIWS, giving this classic Iowa-class battleship a distinctly modern appearance.
