Description
Talbot DamaskThis wonderful design originates from a set of vestments created in 1848 by Augustus Pugin. 'Talbot' was intended for his own church, St Augustine's Abbey, Ramsgate, England, where he is buried. Jewel like colours shine through interlocking ogees in this exquisite pattern of fleur de lys and quatrefoil motifs, resembling medieval stained glass windows. 'Talbot' forms the basis for our 'Alton' fabric, which was a later addition to the Watts & Co.
