Primarily considered a colorist, Julie creates abstracted landscapes with vivid and interwoven unique color strategies. A well known instructor, she encourages the student to find their own path of expression through their art making. She is a well respected teacher who works with artists of all levels. Julie has guided many individuals in pursuit of their artistic goals and aims to increase their understanding of the process. Julie is a nationally recognized artist who began her career in oil painting and received a BFA at the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. She went on to study with internationally renowned colorist Wolf Kahn, who introduced Julie to her visual approach to color.
