Every crafting hobbyist will find something to knit in the magazine, as the difficulty level of the patterns varies from easy to intermediate.
Beloved Patterns magazine draws inspiration from iconic Nordic brands and designers. The inspiration for the 2025 issue of Beloved Patterns magazine comes from the most famous Finnish graphic designer Erik Bruun’s iconic posters. This 124-page magazine features 20 unique and never-before-published knitting patterns. You’ll also find an article about Erik Bruun inside.
Knitting designers Heli Hottinen-Puukko, Janita Koskinen, Jenna Kostet, Hannemari Lehtonen, Terri Maue, Tiia Reho, Mia Sumell, Emma Suominen, and Anna-Karoliina Tetri have drawn inspiration from Bruun’s rich world of patterns and created their own interpretations. The patterns range from easy to challenging.
The collection includes gorgeous stranded-colorwork designs: sweaters, a cardigan, five pairs of socks, and various accessories. The size range is extensive, so there are designs to suit all body types.
Yarns used include those from Novita, Lankava, Tukuwool, Markus Company, Vuonue, Säie Wool, Sandnes Garn, and Drops. The yarn choices have been made with good availability and variety in mind.
