These Custom YS Valve Covers machined from a single block of 6061-T6 aluminum are a prime example and one of our most successful experiments to date. Increased internal volume allows the downstroke of the piston to supercharge more air into the combustion chamber for increased power output to the tune of 50-100RPM, depending on your propeller selection. Most importantly however, the all aluminum construction and heat sink design make the motor run about 15°F cooler which is especially valuable in hot and humid climates. Plus, it looks pretty dang cool!
