The plant grows to a height of 80–120 cm and produces 8–10 cm blooms composed of approximately 30–35 petals. Flower color ranges from soft pink to pink-purple, often highlighted by subtle gradient edges that enhance its depth and visual appeal.

One of its most striking features is the dramatic transformation of its bloom form. Buds begin plump and rounded, resembling a steamed bun; as they open halfway, the flowers develop a luxurious peony-like fullness. When fully open, the blooms flatten into a distinctive pancake shape, revealing prominent green stamens, often referred to as “green nose hairs,” adding a unique ornamental character.

‘Peony Kiss’ is a continuous bloomer, flowering from late spring through late autumn. Each bloom has an excellent vase life, lasting over one week, making it highly desirable for both commercial cut-flower production and premium floral arrangements.
