Reclaiming the Commons: Biodiversity, Traditional Knowledge, and the Rights of Mother Earth lays out the scientific, legal, political, and cultural struggle to defend the sovereignty of biodiversity and indigenous knowledge. Corporate war on nature and people through patents and corporate Intellectual Property Rights has unleashed an epidemic of biopiracy resulting in important legal battles fighting efforts to patent the rights to many plants, including basmati, neem, and wheat. The author presents details of the specific attempts made by corporations to secure these patents and the legal actions taken to fight them. The book goes beyond the legal struggle to position the necessary solutions to corporate control including the exploring the Rights of Nature and proposing a framework for a Universal Declaration of the Rights of Mother Earth. It is the first detailed legal history of the international and national laws related to biodiversity and Intellectual Property Rights.Binding Type: Paperback

Poor quality control… Received a used pair
Size: 12, Color: Birch Beige/Farro/Ivory, Size: 12, Color: Birch Beige/Farro/Ivory
The shoes that were delivered showed signs of wear. Not sure if this was a used pair or a display pair but this should have been caught from the beginning. I would normally return them, but will be out of the country for the next month and don’t have the time. Unacceptable quality control from the official cole haan store front.

Poor footbed but otherwise good.
Size: 10, Color: British Tan/Dark Chocolate/Natural
Comfortable. Replaced mediocre footbed that has no arch support with something else and it is now great. True to size.

Look and feel awesome!
Size: 11.5, Color: Optic White/Opti
These are awesome shoes - look great really, really white and clean! Love how comfortable they are - and soooo light. I was a little worried they'd get dirty easily, but I've been able to keep them clean. Fit as expected. If you're looking for a great, comfortable, and affordable shoe, check these out!
