Taking inspiration from the Mushroom Raglan and Mushroom Hat featured in her book Observations, Lotta H. Löthgren just released the Mushroom Cowl as an individual design - and we are in love with this textured, highly squishable little thing of beauty.

Mushroom Cowl is a snuggly möbius band which is knitted as a tube and grafted together. The two stitch pattern repeat is easy to remember but creates an effective textured design.

This is an ideal first project if you are new to colourwork - still a fun knit to enjoy for the more experienced knitter.

Soft but not too soft, and my head never bottoms out. Feels like my head is floating on air. And no rubber odor. There is a slight scent initially but it isn't unpleasant. I've been sleeping on this pillow for 10 days now and have never slept better. I don't find that it's any warmer than any other pillow. The pillow comes with a nice soft stretchy cotton cover. (I purchased a spare pillow for the future).
