These fittings feature a two-piece insert, which includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that securely compresses the hose onto the fitting to ensure a tight, leak-proof seal. The main difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings consist of separate components—the ferrule and fitting body—offering flexibility during installation and easier replacement. One-piece fittings, on the other hand, are pre-assembled for faster use but offer less flexibility. The A-FJ9L fitting features a 90° JIC female swivel with a 37° seat and a long drop design, providing a reliable and durable connection in high-pressure fluid systems.
