The handle is 10 oz Dublin Olde English vegetable tanned leather from the legendary Horween tannery in Chicago. Choose from a red, forest green or black leash. The handle is attached to the body of the lead by a single loop and there is a mountaineering D ring at the junction so that you can attach things or throw the leash over your shoulder and hook it to your bolt snap if your dog is off leash. If you would prefer a floating O ring
