| Préparation de la surface | Support neuf : Murs (Plâtre, Plaque de plâtre, Ciment, Pierre, Brique, Béton etc.): Dépoussiérer, puis appliquer la sous-couche Julien® adaptée au support. Boiseries (Contours de fenêtre, Portes, Plinthes etc.): Dégraisser si bois exotique, décaper toute trace de vernis, cire ou lasure, poncer et dépoussiérer. Support déjà peint : Lessiver les surfaces grasses ou salies, rincer soigneusement à l'eau et laisser sécher avant application. Enlever toute peinture écaillée ou insuffisamment adhérente, reboucher si nécessaire, poncer, dépoussiérer, puis appliquer la sous-couche Julien adaptée au support. Sur d'anciennes peintures brillantes, dépolir légèrement au papier de verre, dépoussiérer. Sur papier peint, papier à peindre ou toile de verre (sauf vinyle) : Dépoussiérer. Appliquer une sous-couche universelle en phase aqueuse de type Julien. Faire un essai sur une petite surface à cheval sur les 2. Si aucun décollement n'est constaté après le séchage, appliquer la peinture. Si le papier ou la toile de verre vient d'être collé(e), suivre les indications de temps de séchage figurant sur le pot de colle. Il se peut que la peinture reste collante sur certains papiers ou toiles. Radiateur peint (en bon état): Poncer, dépoussiérer, dégraisser à l'acétone. |
| Mode d’emploi | Appliquer à une température comprise entre 10°C et 25°C. Par forte chaleur, une dilution avec 5% d'eau peut rendre l'application plus confortable. Ne pas interrompre le travail au milieu de la surface à peindre. Retirer les rubans de masquage délicatement et immédiatement après application de la peinture. 1. Bien remuer avant utilisation. Prêt à l'emploi, ne pas diluer. 2. Peindre les boiseries avant de peindre les murs et peindre dans le sens des fibres du bois. 3. Pour les murs, commencer par peindre les angles avec un pinceau (brosse à rechampir). Travailler par carrés successifs de 1m² pour éviter les reprises visibles. Ne pas revenir sur son travail en cours de séchage. 4. Charger généreusement le rouleau et appliquer la peinture sur le mur par bandes verticales. 5. Croiser en passant le rouleau perpendiculairement au premier passage. 6. Terminer en lissant vers le bas sans recharger et sans appuyer sur le rouleau. 7. Attendre 6h et appliquer une 2ème couche. Certaines teintes vives ou soutenues peuvent nécessiter une application en plusieurs couches. |

Perfect for Me

Beautiful serving cart! I love mine. I currently use it to display my collection of crystal stemware and glass dishes. It will also be useful in the future for serving food and beverages to my guests. I chose to not use the stemware and wine bottle racks. It’s completely optional. I like the more streamlined and uncluttered appearance for displaying whatever I wish. The color is probably best described as “matte antique gold” and matches many of my antique gold photo frames and brass figurines. My kit arrived with 4 identical rolling wheels rather than 2 regular and 2 locking wheels, which was perfect for me, because I didn’t want the locking wheels anyhow. It was like the kit had already been customized to my preferences. The only “glitch” was that there was a crimp in one of the pieces where it shouldn’t have been, which prevented 2 pieces from sliding together easily. After struggling with it for a bit without success, I got out my flathead screwdriver and a hammer and very gently flattened the crimp out so that the pieces would fit together. The result of my perseverance is amazing! I am super-happy with my purchase.

Assembly instruction so poor it made it fun

The finished cart looks great but, man, I gotta give it up to whoever put those assembly instructions together. You, sir or ma’am, are a GD LEGEND. Following your nonsensical, contradictory and deceptive instructions became a magical journey that started in frustration and ended in maniacal, elated tears of joy. It was as if you crafted a special love letter just for me with hilarious inside jokes along the way that we shared across time and space. You, in your cubicle, dumping out misleading and false information and me, staring indignantly at the page wondering what type of unhinged person could possibly get so much wrong. Like when you illustrated and labeled two distinct and separate parts (and even gave instructions as to how to assemble them into one) when one, solid piece was clearly all that was present in the box. And how you labeled it with a clear letter C despite the glaring and bold G adorning the piece, in fact, mislabeled every single piece in the set. When you told me to expect three distinct screw sizes even though you knew I would only find two. How the wrench was slyly hidden away from the hardware box and instead wedged among the casters. I think my favorite part was noting how washers were included but left to my assumptions as to where to include them (this direction coyly absent from the manual entirely), only to realize at the end I would need to disassemble the very first step to find their intended home, relying purely on intuition to guide me. Thank you for the journey. I am a better human being as a result. I can only envy those lucky people in the future who will go though the same process of growth as I will never be able to have the experience again.
