Geist’s Remote Temperature, Humidity, Dew Point, and Airflow Sensor delivers precise, real-time environmental monitoring tailored for data centers, server rooms, and critical IT environments. By capturing temperature, humidity, dew point, and airflow data from remote locations, this sensor empowers IT teams to identify cooling inefficiencies, curb hot spots, and maintain optimal conditions for sensitive equipment. A supplementary input enables daisy-chaining additional sensors to expand coverage, while the included 20 ft / 6.1 m cable provides flexible deployment across racks, cabinets, and densely packed facilities. The result is a scalable, reliable monitoring solution that supports proactive maintenance, reduces energy consumption, and extends hardware life. Built to withstand the rigors of data-center environments, the Geist sensor blends rugged performance with seamless integration into existing DCIM ecosystems.

Designed for easy integration into modern data centers, this multi-parameter sensor offers a holistic view of cabinet health. Real-time readings of temperature, humidity, dew point, and airflow feed into your preferred monitoring platform, enabling trend analysis, alerting, and data-driven decision making. The remote sensing approach minimizes the need for invasive sensors near hot components, while the flexible daisy-chain option ensures you can scale coverage as your facility grows. Whether you manage a single rack or a multi-rack core, Geist provides a dependable, scalable solution that helps prevent unexpected downtime and supports efficient cooling strategies in line with energy-management goals.

  • Comprehensive environmental monitoring: Monitor temperature, humidity, dew point, and airflow in real time, giving a complete view of the cabinet environment. The sensor feeds continuous data to your DCIM or monitoring platform, supports historical logging, and helps you spot gradual shifts before they cause failures. With trend analysis and timeline views, you can verify cooling performance against service level agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Remote sensing with long cable: Includes a 20 ft / 6.1 m cable to reach remote racks and multi-rack deployments. This distance preserves accurate sample readings away from heat sources while keeping cabling tidy. The ruggedized cable is built to withstand the rigors of data centers, including dust and vibration, ensuring stable data delivery to your monitoring system.
  • Daisy-chain capability: The supplementary input supports adding more sensors to expand coverage across cabinets or rooms. This scalable approach minimizes blind spots and reduces the need for multiple standalone monitors. Simple daisy-chaining helps maintain a concise, manageable sensor network while preserving data integrity and synchronized readings.
  • Hot spot and airflow visualization: By correlating temperature and airflow metrics, the Geist sensor highlights zones with restricted airflow, enabling quick visual identification of hot spots. This empowers technicians to adjust airflow distribution, reposition cables or fans, and optimize cooling capacity. The result is lower energy consumption and longer equipment life.
  • Easy integration and alerts: Designed to work with standard DCIM platforms and monitoring tools, providing real-time dashboards, alerts, and historical trends. You can set thresholds for temperature, humidity, dew point, and airflow to trigger proactive notifications, guaranteeing rapid response to anomalies and reducing unplanned downtime.

How to Install Geist Remote Temperature, Humidity, Dew Point, and Airflow Sensor

Install the Geist sensor with a focus on representative sampling, secure mounting, and seamless integration with your monitoring stack. Follow these practical steps to ensure accurate data collection and scalable deployment across your facility.

  • Plan placement: Choose a location within the cabinet or a nearby ambient area that samples representative air flow, avoiding direct exposure to fans, vents, or obstructive cabling that could skew readings.
  • Mount the sensor: Securely mount the device using compatible hardware in a position that samples representative cabinet air and avoids physical obstruction to airflow pathways.
  • Route the cable: Route the 20 ft / 6.1 m cable toward the monitoring interface, keeping cables tidy and protected from pinching, abrasion, or accidental disconnection.
  • Connect and daisy-chain: Connect to the main monitoring system and, if needed, attach supplementary sensors using the daisy-chain input per the product manual. Verify continuity and sensor detectability in the central console.
  • Configure alerts and dashboards: In your DCIM or monitoring software, set thresholds for temperature, humidity, dew point, and airflow. Test alerts to confirm proper operation and establish baseline performance for future comparisons.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.

Madison Deserved Better
Format: Kindle
Madison was a beta...except she wasn't any longer. She was a late presenting Omega. And she was struggling. She was tall and thin, not tiny and curvy. She was opinionated. She was everything an Omega was not. After suffering through her first heat, her friends took her to Ardor, a club where Omegas came to safely find Alphas. She's not expecting much but then she connects with a sexy beta. And when she meets his Alphas, they set her body on fire. Maybe, she's found her no-strings-attached heat pack. Maybe, she's found something more. I could not connect with the characters in this book, so their story never resonated with me. And there was no love story; there was sex. Grey made it clear from the beginning that he had a true love and it was his beta boy, Rian. He went so far as to reassure Rian “Say the word, I’ll never touch her again. Lucas can put the babies in her. I only need you, beta boy”. So, Madison was there for babies, no emotions needed. Nice. No, thank you. I want the Omega to be the center of their world, not an incubator. Lucas and Rian weren't any better. After her heat, they let her leave. Not one of them made her feel valued. No one gave her a reason to stay or even offered a cuddle. And the sex didn't even come across as mind-blowing. Madison deserved better.

Pretty Darn Good
Format: Kindle
So I’ve been on a omega kick and this definitely hit the spot. Madison was frustrating at times with how she acted towards Lucas, Gray, and Rian. It was like she said towards the end, she didn’t believe she deserved nice things. It would have been nice to hear from her best friends again. They kind of were there in the beginning and the gone except for mention of text messages received from them. I feel like her friends would have been great help in encouraging Madison to go with the pack and never give Brent another chance because he was toxic. I loved Rian. His personality was awesome. His humor. His ability to make Madison comfortable whenever she was feeling overwhelmed. And the fact he fell for her and she fell for him first. They are cute together. I do feel like Lucas was the odd man out though. Like Lucas didn’t develop as much of a relationship with Madison. I would have really liked to see more development in the relationship between them. It was also the same with him and Rian. There is really no relationship displayed. Most of the relationship being displayed is between Rian and Gray. Nevertheless, I loved reading about the dynamic that came to fruition during the entirety of this story. Madison finally got her happiness. And Brent finally got punched in the face. Everyone got exactly what they deserve.
