The Everlasting Penny

Created in remembrance of a love that does not end, The Everlasting Penny is a testament to connection that outlives form. This piece was shaped in honor of Michelle, a beloved friend whose life ended too soon, yet whose presence continues in a way that is deeply felt and unmistakably real.

On one side, two hands meet across the surface of a mirror, inscribed with Rien ne nous sépare (nothing separates us). It is an image of continuity, a bond untouched by distance, time, or the illusion of death.

On the reverse, a crescent moon reflects over the ocean, paired with the phrase Je ne change qu’en apparence (I change only in appearance). Like the moon itself, which seems to shift while remaining whole, the design speaks to the constancy of the soul beneath visible change.

This penny invites you to write across the veil, to honor the enduring presence of those you love, and to give form to what continues beyond what can be seen. Love is never lost, nor in vain.
