The Hebi no Hi Katana, meaning “Flame of the Serpent”, is a blade that embodies precision, danger, and elegance. Its crimson lacquer saya and serpent-themed fittings evoke both the beauty and lethality of a coiled viper. Forged from Tamahagane steel, this masterpiece unites traditional Japanese artistry with a fierce, modern allure.

Each detail — from the mirror-polished hamon to the hand-carved snake motifs — reflects the balance of power and grace found in the warrior spirit. This is not just a katana; it’s a statement of dominance and refinement.

SPECIFICATIONS

Blade Forged from pure Tamahagane steel, the legendary steel used by traditional Japanese swordsmiths. The blade displays a vivid midare hamon (irregular wave pattern) born from expert clay tempering. Its shinogi-zukuri geometry and mirror polish reveal exceptional folding grain (hada) and edge definition, ensuring a perfect blend of beauty, flexibility, and cutting power.
Tsuba (Hand Guard) Handcrafted copper tsuba depicting a coiled serpent in black and gold, symbolizing vigilance and lethal precision. The intricate scales and three-dimensional relief craftsmanship bring the snake to life, wrapping protectively around the base of the blade.
Equipment High-quality copper fittings with black and gold patina finish. Snake motifs continue through the fuchi, kashira, and menuki, creating harmony across the mountings and offering subtle balance between darkness and brilliance.
Handle (Tsuka) Wooden core wrapped in tight black cotton ito over deep crimson samegawa (ray skin). Enhanced with detailed snake-shaped menuki for grip and style, ensuring both comfort and superior control during handling.
Scabbard (Saya) Hand-lacquered high-gloss red saya (urushi style) symbolizing fire and spirit. Paired with a black sageo and horn-style fittings, it creates a striking contrast between elegance and intensity.
Overall Length 103 cm (40.55 inches)
Blade Length 71 cm (27.95 inches)
Handle Length 27 cm (10.63 inches)
Blade Width 3.2 cm (1.26 inches)
Weight Approx. 1.35 kg (2.97 lbs)

DESCRIPTION

The Hebi no Hi Katana channels the elegance and power of the serpent. Its Tamahagane blade, shaped with a graceful curve and midare hamon, mirrors the fluidity of a striking snake. The red lacquer saya stands as a symbol of burning spirit, while the black serpent tsuba guards the wielder with silent ferocity.

From its snake-scale engravings to the crimson samegawa beneath the black handle wrap, every element is crafted to represent movement, precision, and control. This is a weapon born from balance — of life and death, flame and silence.

Great for sensitive skin, leaves no stickiness or residue, very good quality, durable, and absorbent. Also you get a decent amount of wipes for the price, great size to last a while.

Works great.
Color: Blue+red
I love how easy this children’s dental floss is. My child with ASD is able to use with little to no help. it’s been years trying to get my child with sensory sensitivities to floss or brush teeth without a HUGE STRUGGLE, however this is very gentle and something that makes our oral health care routine smoother. ( if you know, you know!!) It is very similar to the viral “ usmile” adult version water flossers. My only complaint/issue with this is that it collapse pretty easily and sometimes it’s hard to keep in the locked position while flossing teeth. Overall a good product, and recommend.?
