The SDT-1410 is a dry-cutting masonry chop saw designed for brick & block jobs. Due to the large 14" blade and potent 3 HP carbon-brush motor, the unit can effectively cut blocks up to 5" thick in a single pass. Despite the saw's overwhelming power and cutting capacity, it is nevertheless one of the lightest in its class—weighing only 75 lbs. For added versatility, the saw can be outfitted with an optional wet or dry kit to adapt the saw for use in a variety of situations.

Large Cutting Capacity
The wide, open back design easily accommodates materials up to 8" X 8" X 16".

Clear View Cutting Head
The cutting head is ergonomically designed to provide an unobstructed view of the work area to increase operator efficiency and reduce fatigue.

Steel Construction
The saw's solid steel construction provides the strength required to minimize vibrations to ensure precision cuts and to maximize the durability of the saw for years of continual use.

Dry Cut Dust Deflector
An aluminum plate located beneath the cutting head ensures that the dust generated from the cutting action is directed to the rear of the saw and away from the operator.

Table Retention Device
The cutting table is equipped with a spring lock to secure the cutting table in one of two positions. When locked forward, the saw is ready to be transported in between job sites. When locked midway, the table is appropriately positioned for plunge cuts.

Preset Height Position Lock
The cutting head incorporates a dual spring system to assist in cutting height adjustments and a locking mechanism to secure the cutting head at two predetermined positions. When locked at either 5" or 8" above the table, the saw is configured for ripping through brick & block. When disengaged, the saw can be used for plunge cuts.

Reusable Air Filter
The motor utilizes a special fire-resistant filter to remove debris from the air intake. The filter is designed for easy cleaning and can be reused indefinitely.

Arbor Cover
The arbor cover permits easy blade installation and removal, and ensures that dust flows down and away from the operator.

Cast Aluminum Cutting Table
A heavy-duty cast aluminum cutting table is equipped with steel ball bearing wheels to ensure smooth movement and to provide outstanding durability for the handling of large, heavy materials.

Powerful Motor
The 3 HP carbon brush motor provides unrelenting torque at low amperages.
