These fittings feature a two-piece insert, which includes a ferrule—a metal or plastic component that compresses the hose onto the fitting, creating a secure, leak-proof seal. The difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings have separate components—the ferrule and the fitting body—allowing for more flexibility in installation and easier replacement, while one-piece fittings are pre-assembled, making them faster to install but offering less flexibility.
